The Butterfly Support Group is a confidential, non-judgmental, and safe space for students who would like to gain support and insight on dealing with the stressors surrounding immigration policy and changes that may impact you or your family.
Open to all UChicago students (undergrad, grad, professional) regardless of immigration status. Led by an independent (non-UChicago) therapist with experience providing expert guidance on health and well-being of those affected by issues outlined above.
During spring quarter 2018 meetings will alternate between group and individual sessions. On individual sessions dates students may meet one-on-one with the therapist for about forty-five minutes. Students may drop in to group sessions at any time in the quarter. Group sessions meet for one hour. Hot beverages and snacks will be provided.
